Are liquid products, such as toothpaste and cosmetics, banned from luggage on international flights?

I am going on a trip from Australia to the UK, Europe and then Thailand in a month, and someone was telling me that any type of liquid product was no longer allowed to be taken with you on a flight, not even checked under the plane, let alone hand luggage. Does anyone know if this is true as I would hate to have to buy new make up, perfume, toiletries etc every time I leave and enter a new country!!??Are liquid products, such as toothpaste and cosmetics, banned from luggage on international flights?
Absolutely not true, for international flights (or domestic) 3oz. or 100ml are okay for cabin bags and larger containers are allowed in check-in luggage. Check your airlines website, almost all airlines have information on restricted items and size allowances. Are liquid products, such as toothpaste and cosmetics, banned from luggage on international flights?
TSA is American. They cannot dictate the security procedures of other countries when the flight does not have anything to do with the US. However, some other countries have adopted their own liquid restrictions. When I flew out of Australia to southeast asia, there was no liquid restriction. But that was several years ago so you might want to check for updated info.
I'm a private pilot but last I heard was 3oz of liquid in a container are ok. No more than 3oz though. You might want to check the TSA website before packing just to avoid wasting your time or money.
No, as long as it is in your ';checked'; baggage, you are fine.
no thats not true.
