I agree with the Revlon Colorstay; I have oily skin and a few big pores on the cheeks, and it helps :)
Some types of face powders are formulated to help minimize pores (Physician's Formula, CLinique, etc). There's also Clean and Clear; they have a complete lineup of powders, ointments, etc.
I know Pond's used to make a pore minimizing cream but I haven't seen it around in my area for some time.
Guys have a little more trouble; my boyfriend has large wide pores and the best he's been able to do is visibly shrink them a bit by washing only twice a day (he used Neutrogena) and wiping off excess oil with something plastic-like called Gatsby Oil Sheet.
If it's genetic (your mom or dad have large pores too) then there isn't much you can do but camouflage with thin, sparing layers of oil free mineral based powder (too much and it makes pores look BIGGER!)
I have a non-cosmetic remedy that helps if you have oily skin (not dry, avoid this if your skin is dry) Heat water in a small casserole (you can toss in some mint or chamomile), take it off the heat and while closing your eyes, place your face above the steam. Make sure you're comfortable and the steam doesn't hurt your face! Please be very careful!
Then afterwards do your cleansing routine, and wash up with very cool water.
The steaming opens pores and helps get rid of the dirt that sometimes keeps pores open. Your cleanser can get in deeper, and the cold water helps shrink the pores.

I use NouriFusion (by Herbalife). It's only availble through independent Herbalife Distributors (I'm one).
The basic system (Cleanser / Toner / Moisturiser) is based on vitamins A, C and E.
Herbalife also has a nutrition shake for getting healthy from the inside out. Tastes great too.
