Do avon cosmetics test their products on animals?

They say they don't. You can guarentee that somewhere in the past the ingredients in the cosmetics have been tested, but you can say that for all brands.

You can never really tell, some websites state that they do some say that they don't. Maybe write a letter or email them and ask them directly. PETA have a link on their website which tells you which products they know for definite do test on animals and which for definite don't! I hate not knowing also, I'm a vegetarian and anti-fur and animal testing and I hate not knowing!Do avon cosmetics test their products on animals?
Avon are PETA approved which means that they sign a declaration stating that they do not test their products or their product ingredients on animals. they will have to provide a fixed cut-off date (the very last time they tested on animals) which i believe is the same as the co-op (1985) it is better to support these brands as at least with every new product that is developed and produced you know that no harm comes to animals. PETA does use undercover investigations also to prove the companies are telling the truth so the people saying ';you never really know'; well actually -WE DO!
Avon do not test there products on animals as i am one of the people who work actually at Avon testing so I'm lucky i came across this question. Avon test there products on natural human beings with all different shades of skin as this helps decide which look is better for the different shades of skin
