If one wanted to sell handmade cosmetics and products..?

to the general public, would those products need to be tested first, and, if so, where?? And would it be expensive? Does anybody know the rules and regulations regarding this?





I'm doing Young Enterprise at my Sixth Form, which is why I need to know.

The FDA regulates the ingredients used in cosmetics...so I would suspect, yes, they would need to be tested...check the FDA's website for more information.If one wanted to sell handmade cosmetics and products..?
Look at the Anita Roddick story. She started out selling such products a craft markets.
